How does it work? |

Our minds work on two levels – The conscious and the unconscious. We make decisions, think and act with our conscious mind and the unconscious mind controls our survival instincts, thus finding ways for dealing with areas that we find stressful and uncomfortable. Have you ever noticed whenever dealing with an uncomfortable situation, we resort to old habits, like nail biting or picking. Under hypnosis, and in a state of relaxation, it is possible to communicate with your unconscious mind and explain that these bad habits are no longer appropriate and are not necessary in your life. |

Will Hypnosis work for me? |
A. |
As long as there are no severe mental health disorders, virtually anyone can achieve successful results under hypnosis. You will need is a fully trained Hypnotherapist who will guide you into a state of total relaxation where your unconscious mind can then communicate and most importantly a willingness to overcome your problem. Hypnotherapy has a very high success rate and you will feel the benefits immediately. |

Is Hypnosis Safe; will I come out of my trance? |

Hypnosis is completely safe, you are aware and in control at every moment and can stop the session at any time simply by opening your eyes. You cannot get stuck in Hypnosis, you are not asleep during the session, you are completely aware of what is going on around you and can hear what is being said, you will not feel out of control at any time and your Hypnotherapist is there at all times to guide you through this experience. |

Will I remember everything after the session? |

You will not be a sleep but deeply relaxed, therefore you should remember everything after the session, there is of course varying degrees of the depth of the relaxation you enter and this varies to each individual. When the session is over your therapist will quite happily go through your experience with you. |
What you can expect from a session with me:
Complete Confidentiality where you can discuss any issue freely and openly.
I am an experienced and qualified therapist who works under a strict code of ethics as set out by the GHSC I undertakes regular Continual Professional Development and I am updated regularly by the GHR of any news about the industry.
You will be given a Free Consultation to discuss the most effective way forward to resolve your problem and as your therapist I will then be able to advise you the number of sessions that will be required. Child Birth Preparation is usually 4 sessions, Behaviour changes such as Stopping Smoking, habit breaking can be dealt with in one long session, Phobias normally 3 to 4 sessions and my Weight Control Programme 5 Sessions. Your motivation to change will play a big role in the amount of sessions that you will require.
Hypnotherapy is often described as a pleasant relaxing experience and as your therapist I will be with you at all times during your session.
An individual plan is tailored to your requirements. The first session including the consultation will normally last 90 minutes and subsequent sessions will be around an hour. Stopping smoking will normally be done in one long session of about 90 minutes to 2 hours
Your session will take place in a warm and comfortable room without interruption. Home visits can be arranged if necessary.
How to find a good Therapist, for if you are out of my area:
Always check to see if the therapist you intend to use is registered with one of the governing bodies such as the GHR. The GHR can be found in the Yellow Pages under Hypnotherapist or Yell.com or Google GHR
Most therapists will offer a consultation before treatment to ensure that you can work together and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Hypnotherapy is a relaxing safe and non-invasive technique to solve and resolve some of the issues and pressures created by living in today’s environment.

Fees
£45.00 per session
£200.00 for 4 sessions of Child brithing including CD's
£95.00 per Stop Smoking.
